Magic missile + Spellwarp sniper

blaster

First Post
working on a character, and wondering exactly what would happen when I spellwarp a magic missile.
Does each missile get turned into an individual ray?
Or do you get a single ray out of the MM?

I am thinking that the first occurs but am not entirely sure.
Why spellwarp a MM? going to be sneak attacking with rays :D

You are correct in both respects. Spellwarping turns any instantaneous duration spell with range greater than touch into a single ray up to your spellwarp sniper level. In this respect, yes, you could apply sneak attack damage to the magic missile ray. In general though if a spell would have allowed a reflex save and is spellwarped it no longer allows that save.

A spellwarped spell must be also be an area spell, so magic missile is not a valid choice.

The Ocular Spell feat from Lords of Madness has less exacting requirements, though comes with an unfortunate metamagic adjustment.

There we go, knew something was wrong with my line of thinking, but couldn't place a finger on what it was. Can't be done at all

Trouvere is correct, sorry my mistake however ocular spell does not remove reflex saves. It appears the only definite advantages of that feat is being able to cast two spells as a full-round action and going ranged with touch spells. The other is lurid at best (Does storing spells in eyes mean two free spell slots?). You can better have twin spell and practical metamagic, may be more feats but has a lot more options.
