In a campaign I played, I once found a blind sword. The name escapes me, but it was pretty much just a +1 longsword that couldn't see. It didn't affect the character at all, but it would freak out when there was commotion, shouting "What's going on!?" and "How are we doing?". It also had some sort of memory problem. Everytime my character unsheathed it, it would scream, "My eyes! I can't see a thing!"
