Making powers reliable

Posting here has caused me to reconsider adding Reliable to daily and encounter powers, thanks to all the comments. The problem with making everything reliable is having to then change Reliable powers to have some *other* benefit, and that can cause a chain reaction of changes that need to be made.

I like some of the suggestions, but have decided to try an aspect and fate point system similar to FATE/SotC. The fate points can be used for various goodies, and will be rewarded for roleplaying, whenever I compel an aspect, achieving major objectives in the story, and particularly epic battles. Fate points will replace action points in my game, and I'll make cards with the uses printed on them, although I will miss using the poker chips. They are fun to play with. :D Thanks to Weem for mentioning how his group used them in the Purple Index card thread.
