I thought they were supposed to not look human-like, not that they're not supposed to have two arms, two legs, and a head.
Sigh, why? You still have horned devils, aka cornugons, after all.Sammael said:If the gallery captions are correct, malebranche (old name for horned devil/cornugon, later resurrected in 3E as a separate type of devil) is now a demon.

Sigh.

The dragon bothers me, as most dragons do, because the wing physiology is so wonky. While I understand that if we want to have flying dragons, we have to put up with a bit of suspension of disbelief--things that big aren't going to fly worth a damn--I would just, for once, like to see someone depict a dragon with at least passingly believable flight muscles inserted at the mechanically appropriate location. This dragon looks like it could wiggle its wings a bit, but not much more.Simia Saturnalia said:I actually kind of like the green dragon concept art. Looks very...aerial predator to me. The old dragons looked like they flew because "Dragons fly!", while the new green seems somehow sleeker, born to whip between treetops at full flight while pursuing prey. EDIT: Just got a look at the colored ones, too. I likes.
