Is it possible for Viktor to do ANYTHING right now? If I recall in 3.5 one cannot pass through an allies' square. Which means unless a skeleton stands atop Dane, Viktor literally can do NOTHING. If that's not the case, please let me know, as I want to be able to help, lol.[/sblock]

Viktor merely watched in horror from behind Midias as Dane and Reis were both brutally attacked by the skeletons.

Moving through a Square:
Friendly: You can move through a square occupied by a friendly character, unless you are charging. When you move through a square occupied by a friendly character , that character doesn' provide you with cover. (PHB pg.147)

Ending Your Movement: You can't end your movement in the same square as another creature unless it is helpless. (PHB pg.148)

So you could move to the x and try and protect Dane if you wish. [/sblock]
 

End Round 2

Midias calls forth the power of Hyrag, and this time his devotion and faith pay off. The young priests holy symbol glows almost to the same brightness as the sun. Sheilding their eyes the characters can hear the poping and snapping of each skeletons' bones. When the light fades all but one skeleton lies on the ground finally lifeless.

Reis steps over the body of Dane, protecting him as the last skeleton comes forward and tries to claw and scratch the stalwart and quick warrior.

The bright light slows down Viktor's advance, as spots continue to dance before his eyes.

Reis also grits his teeth and swings his mace at the skeleton's skull, realizing that he has to destroy it before it has the chance to wear down his defenses with continued attacks.

Combat Over

Reis boldly attacks the skeleton as it claws at the young warrior. His mace catches the undead monsteracross the hip and leg causing it to come crashing down just as Midias rounds the corner to help. Viktor comes charging also but soon sees the battle is over parts of skeletons and shreded robes are everywhere.

o.k. a close one to say the least, :erm: And it should have been it was an ECL4, now not to meta-game to much but we all know ScorpionRisk wishes to retire his character so you do need to still heal him but you don't need to waste alot of spells (your characters are in the basement of a church), but at least someting should be done for him. Sorry Dane didn't die SR but maybe he can be "left behind" do to the seriousness of his injures?? [/sblock]

Now before going and adding this let's make sure it is approved. But till then:

EL 4/Party lvl 1 = 1,350xp

1,350xp / 4 characters = 337.5xp each
EDIT: We dropped the 37.5 for easier math I guess total is 300xp each [/sblock]

OOC: I don't think anyone's ever apologized to me for not killing my character. No worries though.

I think being left at the church to recuperate may work. You know, zombie death bites are hard to recover from.
 

Midias

Midias looks at the badly mauled cleric and the pretty beaten up ranger: "We should get out of here and come back later!" Then he uses a bit of magic to patch up Reis and stabilize Dane.

Reis has put his mace back in his pack and is looking around the room curiously when Midias' healing energy flows over him. Revitalized, he smiles and thanks the cleric quietly. Then he turns to Dane, who despite the healing still looks injured. "You took a few nasty hits there. Do you think you're well enough to travel?"

Afterward, he takes some time to search the room carefully, partly to discover where the skeletons came from. He also looks for footprints or anything that might indicate a human having passed through.

[sblock=Actions]The survival check is for tracking, and the search for generally looking around. Also, what about obvious things for the room we're in? Are there any ways out other than the hallway we came in by?

"Yes, I'm fine." Dane mutters, but starts coughing. He puts his hand up to block the cough and you notice a splatter of blood. He begins to stand, shoving off any help provided, and immediately falls, his legs unable to remain rigid.
