Map(s) of Greyhawk?

I was looking for opinions on the 4 part map of Greyhawk featured in Dragon as compared to the map in the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer (I lost this one and haven't decided whether I should attempt to reacquire this one or purchase the issues of Dungeon in question).

So please discuss and help me decide. Thanks in advance.

The one in Dungeon is bigger and better. No question!

The maps in Dungeon have a lot more good stuff included in them, since they're smaller scale than the LGG maps: Hommlet and the ToEE appear, along with most modules set in GH, etc., etc.

I bought an extra copy of each issue to laminate the maps :D

Do you think it would be worth $28, though?

I'm a Dungeon subscriber, so it was only $14 for me. :-) Given that the LGG isn't much cheaper, I'd say yes. Plus you get all those nice prewritten modules at the same time, many of which are set in Greyhawk!

I actually prefer the 83 boxed set version. My 80 Folio version was missing some labels, like the See of Megia, but is printed on better paper.

The recent maps from Dungeon are nice, and have lots of adventure locations on them. Good if you are a DM running in the current timeline. My only complaint about them is that the stock they are printed on is "man-I-hope-I-don't-tear-this" thin.

yeah, i'm afraid to open them up too many times for fear of ripping them.
