Map Viewing Program

Its a DHTML application that is a work in progress. The maps I've seen created by Dundjinni inspired me to start writing it. Please try it out and read the help file, then let me know what you think.

could you post a more detailed description of exactly what kind of maps it is for viewing? I'm reluctant to download stuff before I know what it does.

My apologies for the short description. This application is essentially an HTML file plus javascript. The types of maps you can use must be any file type that can be displayed in HTML such as jpg, gif, png, etc. I've included an example map created in the dundjinni demo within the zip file. There is no installation program or alterning of the registry if that is what you are concerned about. Just unzip the file to any location and open up the "map view.html" to try it out.

Nice job so far, It looks fine. That's the kind of functionality I'd like to see in Dundjinni. I'm currently GMing the way you've dreamed (but I don't let players using the mouse), using autorealm/PCGEN on a laptop and a TV screen to display the map.

Attached is the next update for the Map View program. I call it version 0.7. Let me know what you think of the new functionality.
