Mark Questions...

Hybrid Divine Challenge's damage is not a "no action", though. It's an immediate reaction. Subtle difference that's easy to overlook.

Divine Challenge (Hybrid)
You boldly confront a nearby enemy, searing it with divine light if it ignores your challenge.

At-Will Divine, Radiant
Minor Action Close burst 5

Target: One creature in burst

Effect: You mark the target. The target remains marked until you use this power against another target, or if you fail to engage the target (see below). A creature can be subject to only one mark at a time. A new mark supersedes a mark that was already in place.
While the target is marked, it takes a -2 penalty to attack rolls for any attack that doesn’t include you as a target. The first time it makes an attack that doesn’t include you as a target before the start of your next turn, you can use an immediate reaction to deal radiant damage to the target equal to your Charisma modifier. The damage increases to 2 + your Charisma modifier at 11th level and 4 + your Charisma modifier at 21st level. [...]
Because Mind Spike is also an immediate reaction, I don't believe you can use both in one turn (as you can only take one immediate action per turn).

Mind Spike
You force your enemy to feel the pain that it inflicts on your friend.

At-Will Force, Psionic, Psychic
Immediate Reaction Melee 1

Trigger: An adjacent enemy marked by you deals damage to your ally with an attack that doesn’t include you as a target

Target: The triggering enemy

Effect: The target takes force and psychic damage equal to the damage that its attack dealt to your ally.

Use Divine Sanction.

Ardent Strike.

More damage than hybrid DC, and no immediate action taken.

The combo is doable, just with slightly different tools.

As the Mind Spike could trigger off any mark, it is a cool combo with any other hybrid defender, as they can add other mark.
- Aegis him and you get to choose between using the aegis interrupt if hes far and the mind spike if he's adjacent.
- Paladin challenge him and you get to choose between doing some radiant damage if he's anywhere, or mind spike if he's adjacent. (Divine sanction looks broken as a hybrid since the damage is still a no action, so both at once).
- As a fighter/battlemind you get to mark what you attack with your fighter attack and can prevent movement with normal opportunity attack. The option is not as clear cut here. Control the flow of battle: fighter interrupt. Hope for more damage: battlemind interrupt.
- Warden/battlemind: mark everything and wait for some mindspike action. It's bound to happen sometime in the near-future.

Sure the battlemind share his Con major with nobody, but since when as Con been low on any defender :)

My two cents.
