Marvel: Animated Movies Precede Live Action?

Ok, so I just found out that the Invincible Iron Man came out before the live action flick.

I happen to love Mosaic. Anyone know if there ids a chance for a live action version?

Heh, I doubt it's a Marvel "policy" to release an animated feature before a live action feature. Sometimes the cartoon comes first, sometimes the live film does.

A live action version of Mosaic would depend entirely on how well the animated film did in sales. I have no figures, but from what I hear it did not do well at all.

I watched the Hulk vs. DVD extra yesterday and yes- at this point they are looking to release cartoon movies prior to the live action. It creates exposure and in the case of Thor, it allows none comicbook viewers to get to know who Thor and his supporting cast are.

In April comes out Wolverine & The X-men (X-men Origins: Wolverine comes out in May) and Thor: Tales of Asgard comes out in the fall that looks REALLY good.

So one can expect a Captain America cartton movie to be released next year.

As for Mosiac.... Not so sure in the current plans.
