Hey everyone. So when Matt Colville first came out with Strongholds and Followers, I used the mechanics for retainers to re-imagine the Beast Master Ranger, Drakewarden Ranger, and Path of the Dino Rider Barbarian (an original subclass of mine for my Eberron games). However, now that Matt Colville has released the Beast Heart and Companion Creatures, I thought that might be a better mechanic to represent the subclasses listed above.
