Armbands of might add to strength checks (trips and bull rushes). Rage, Frenzy, and Primal Scream add to strength (primal scream would seem to be out for you, as a non-elf). The Courage domain spell adds a +4 morale bonus to strength. Polymorph or polymorph any object can potentially get you a higher strength.
