D&D 5E (2024) Maximum inspiration build?

mellored

Legend
How many ways can we hand out bonuses to allies?

Human for 1/day heroic inspection + an origin feat.
-Musician: 1/short rest for Cha allies
-Purple Dragon Rook: 1/long rest, proficiency creatures

Warlock 5:
-pact of Chain, Sphynx of Wonder: +2 twice per day.
-lessons of the first one: Tireless Reveler: Prof/short rest when an ally spends one
-lessons of the first one: Cult of the Dragon Initiate: 1/SR when you frightened someone (note allies can choose to fail out of combat).
-Lord's Alliance Agent: once per turn per crit.
-Agonizing Blast: so you don't completely crap when fishing for crits.

Bard 5 (subclass?), for their inspiration on a short rest.
-Inspiring Leader, seems like an obvious addition, even though it's not dice.

War cleric 3,
-+10 on a miss,
-Guidance for 1d4
-Bless for 1d4.

Mastermind Rouge 4
-Harper's Teamwork: bonus action to give advantage on attacks and disadvantage on the next save.

Wild Sorcerer 6: 1d4, also you can use heroic inspiration for to reroll surges.

Boon of Fate: 2d4 once per short rest

Any other options?

Champion 10 also gets heroic inspiration, but seems hard to hamd out to others. Champion 10/wild magic Sorcerer could be really fun though. Spamming misty step and shield for 2 rolls a turn.
Lord's Alliance Agent works nicely with the crits though.

The new FR book's Dragon Cult background gives inspiration whenever you fear someone, and provides a method of fearing things IIRC.
Odd interaction.

Cult of the Dragon Initiate: used a Magic Action to cause fear.
Warlock 5: One with Shadows to become invisible, which will not break, because you did not make an attack roll, cast a spell, or deal damage.

So you can turn invisible, walk into a group of enemies, attempt to scare all of them, load up your party with inspiration, and walk out before the battle starts.

Kind of makes me wonder what other non-damage non-spell things you can do to enemies while invisible...

One issue with it on a Warlock is the Wisdom save, and it is also once a short rest. A better choice might be the fear spell.

Also, although this is a neat trick, Invisibility does not work well with the Frightened condition, so you are spending a lot of resources on two things that are largely in opposition to each other.

I think the best use is on a Ranger when combined with extra attack and the Dragonscarred feat.

Im still digesting new feats via YouTube.

Anyway for a lvl 10 champion to grant their inspiration to someone else.

In real games musician origin feat gas been great.

Sure, but you can do it before battle to refill inspiration. One of the enemies will likely fail.
And an ally can choose to fail. So that's at least 1 per ally per 24 hours.

Makes me wonder what other things you can do while invisible.

Best use is probably monk. They don't loose as much using their action vs their bonus action.

But for this thread, casting Fear should get at least 1 target. Or just have an ally choose to fail the save out of combat. Then gift it to the ally.
Lord's Alliance Agent is another feat that can grant allies inspiration. Chef is another good feat for buffs
That's a nice one. Once per turn is great.
Crits aren't too hard for Eldritch Blaster.

Lessons of the First One is really getting buffed here.

Champion only gets inspiration if they don't have it. You have to use it yourself.

That said. A level 15 Two Weapon fighting Champion with Lords Alliance is bound to crit every other turn or so, which is a fair amouo

And musician is still probably the strongest, but that's already added.
