Damn, I almost missed that there are so many interesting movies coming out.

Startrek, Terminator and Wolverine I definitely want to see, whether I can catch them all remains to be seen. Angel & Demons - I don't know, I didn't see the Da Vinci Code on the big screen, either, so I think I'll pass...

Maybe Star Trek. For a moment I thought Terminator, but I have never seen any of the other Terminator movies in theatre. The only summer movie I will for sure be going to see so far is Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

I;ll probably just see terminator and Star Trek. From the spoilers based on that Wolverine Work Print, I'm not sure I'd want to watch the movie in the theater at full admission price. If anything, I'll wait for it to hit the local Dollar Theater.

Wolverine, X-men, and Terminator are a must. I'll see those opening weekend if possible. Angels and Demons I will avoid, I really didn't like the book. Night at the Museum II I'll see, but no real rush for that one. I'd have to look up other movies that are coming out that month for more titles.

Oh, I forgot about that one. I wish I had added it. I'll bet it does fairly well.

Trace - Out of curiosity, how did Divinci Code do compared to the first X-Men movie, the first Terminator film and the top Star Trek flick? It'll be interesting to see how these four movies do in comparison to one another as well as in comparison to their previous films.

Oop, just seeing this...

Divinci Code: Domestic: $217,536,138 (28.7%) + Foreign: $540,703,713 (71.3%) = Worldwide: $758,239,851 --- DOMESTIC SUMMARY: Opening Weekend: $77,073,388 (#1 rank, 3,735 theaters, $20,635 average) % of Total Gross: 35.4% - Widest Release: 3,757 theaters - Close Date: August 20, 2006 -- In Release: 94 days / 13.4 weeks

I am interested in all of them.

People who call Dan Brown a bad writer make me laugh. But then, people who call J. K. Rowling a bad writer also make me laugh.

Capitalism is a powerful tool to judge things, and these are authors who rose to the top. If they were truly very poorly written, they would not have risen to the top as much as they did. Rising to the top does not make them well written, but it's also a decent sign that they are not poorly written and have something that speaks to people that tends to indicate it's compelling writing.

Anyway, I liked both Dan Brown books, and I look forward to the movie and any future books from the man.
