Medium on NBC... anybody else watching this?

Ok, I have a new favorite show. I really, really like Medium. I love how the dead communicate with her. In fact, I've had a Witchcraft/BtVS RPG PC idea a lot like her (just the talking to dead people thing, not the other psychic abilities) in my head for a couple of years. She'd make a great PC/NPC concept in any game.
Oh, and it's on Mondays @ 10pm EST.

My wife does. Eventually she'll probably end up converting me.

Conversion completed for me. I find it a decent, entertaining show which I probably wouldn't have given it a look if not for my wife.

My wife loves it. It is written very intelligently and the interaction between the husband and wife seems real instead of what you usually see in television drama. I've caught one episode so far because it's opposite CSI: Miami. So I'll catch it when CSI is a repeat or flip back and forth with the remote. My wife just goes in the bedroom and turns it on cause she likes it better than CSI.

I've seen all the episodes so far and I like it well enough. I really liked last night's episode when
she explains to the defense attorney that she knows about him cheating on the bar exam, on his wife, and him bribing a witness in his last case.
That was awesome.

I've caught one episode (24 Jan), thus far. Really liked it and meant to add it to my VCR. Spent all last night feeling like there was something I was forgetting. Now I know. *sigh* Guess I'll catch it on reruns.

For those who have caught the whole run, thus far: is there a metaplot to the show, or is it purely episodic?

Not much of a metaplot, really. The main character has an intern-level job in the DA's office, they know about her abilities, but can't come right out and say "we know this stuff because our psychic intern told us so". There is a sub-plot developing around the youngest daughter,
who is turning out to be psychic as well, and how they're all hoping she grows out of it.

It's a good show. I saw the pilot and thought, eh. It's OK. But I've seen all but one of the new episodes since, and I like it more as time goes on. All of the characters' interactions are believable and human...I think that's what I like best about it, not the psychic powers bit.
