I've been eagerly awaiting this book, and since my LGS isn't particularly friendly or helpful, I decided that I would just buy it from the MEG website.

You can always buy it from me :P

It will give Doug a reason to come over and meet me, even if it is just to smack me :) We live only a few miles apart.

But it's not there! When will you have it listed? Given that it's a limited print run, I want to make sure I get one. Heck, I'm totally broke, given that we just got back from 12 days in England, but I'm digging the change out of the sofa cushions so I won't miss Ed's new book. Please update your website so I can buy it!:)

You can order it from d20books or wait about 2 weeks and we will have it up, we do not like to get preorders in the system until we hear the printer say "it is almost done and will ship XXXXX", the we announce it and get pre-orders ready. So we will announce it here when it is available and I will personally guarantee everyone who preorders form us will get a copy, if I have to give my personal copy away to do it!

;)

I'm so happy to hear that, Buttercup! It was such a pleasure to meet you at Gen Con and it's always nice to know that someone like you enjoyed the first book. Please tell me what your thoughts are when you pick up this second one!

Your trip to England sounds like it was great fun-- very much like a trip that I'd like to make to England. I've been to London quite a few times, but I haven't been able to do go outside the city and do a historical tour or anything. You've really got to post the details of your trip! One of the trips I'd love to do is go around the British Isles and visit all the castles, druidic sites, and battlefields. So any tips on good places to go would be wonderful.

Thanks for carrying the books, Jeff! Only with the support of retailers can we bring them to readers. :)

You're lacking Retailer support?

Actually, I support the small publishers. They tend to be my favorite sources for my personal collection.

If you join my Yahoo Group, I showcase a small publisher each Thursday in a limited special. I discount the book down to where I make no profit just to get the book out into the hands of my customers. It spurs interest in the other products you have coming down the pipe (like 1B) and hooks people into a new publisher they have not taken a look at.

I did this with 1A recently. Should be hearing back from people with reviews soon as they've just about had time to check them over.

Jeff,

I think it's great that you're so supportive of smaller publishers and thank you very much for showcasing 1A! I really appreciate that.

It's good to know that there retailers who stay involved with the community and keep up with news about interesting products coming out.

Just to show my support for your efforts, I've joined your mailing list and I'm looking forward to reading all the new messages!

Thanks again.

Ed

You're now a Moderator on my list

I've converted your account to Moderator so that you can post "Special Announcements" and other cool things. It will give you freedom to announce your products.

Feel free to post and interact with my customers too. They are all very opinionated and I learn as much from them as I hope they learn from me. Posting is ONLY moderated against SPAM and I have a free speech policy. Anyone is allowed to say anything (even bad things about me) as long as it is done constructively.

The other thing to note (a warning and disclaimer) is that I'm very opinionated too. I support good products and have good opinions of their publishers. I have those products and publishers I don't like too. My honest opinions and my inability to stop expressing an opinion is actually an occasional topic of discussion on the group. :)

Yeah, it seems like your Yahoo group is very active. My mailbox is filling up from all the correspondence! Can you e-mail me on how to just visit the site?
