Mega-Adventure Prelude--Tenebrynn's Revel

Hasin listens intently to the elven song being played I've always had a bit of a weakness for the music of them dandy elves-
It puts me in the killin' mood. perhaps i may go back to the inn to get my axe...
Droogle shoots his cousin a stupified look.calm down cousin! it was a joke- but if this party doesn't get exciting real quick i may just have to find entertainment elsewhere. hmmmm I heard there is a woman here who used to be a man- THAT could keep me amused for a few moments!

Droggle looks at the finger bone hanging from his cousins neck.

"you are just itching to follow in your fathers footsteps arent you?"

"I kind of like that one. What do you think, girl?" Babette asks the familiar.
Weasel looks up at Babette and shivers with glee. Fimble sends the ball of light over to Babette, and Weasel leaps from Fimble's arm to Babette's. She runs up to Babette's neck and slides her fur along her. "Rikitiki, eh? I think she likes it... Rikitiki!" The weasel shivers again. Just then, Rinaldo makes his toast. Fimble grabs a drink from a nearby server and raises it with everyone else.

"I guess the elf is our host illusionist, then," he whispers. He listens to Nurlan's song, playing with his light and Rikitiki as he does.

Richard moves with as much grace as he can to reach out and grab two glasses from a passing waiter, hands one to Rinya and raises it in toast in one motion. He's only a bit late... and finally decides to take a drink during the song which is just pretty syllables to him. He winces at the bitter but probably very expensive spirits and glances at his Elven friend hoping for some idea of what the song is about.
Rinya mimics Richard's lead in toasting Tennebryn. At Richard's glance during the song she whispers to him, "The song tells of how a long friendship is the most valuable thing one can possess."

Babette laughs as Rikitiki nuzzles her. "That tickles!"

Babette nods in silent agreement, entranced by Nurlan's song.

Valan nabs a glass of his own off of the passing waiters tray. He raises it to toast whatever we are toasting. Well Tor? Truth, lies or none of my buisness?

Ashnar is left a bit puzzled as Juliana, who had just commended her change in gender, is apparently now searching for a 'Rowan,' which sounded a bit like a male name to Ashnar... not that one can easily tell with some names. "I don't believe I've met this Rowan, so I can't help your search, I'm afraid."

She raises her glass in response to Rinaldo's toast to Tenebrynn, and mingles among the guests during Nurlan's song, which she doesn't understand.

Richard's smile of surprise broadens until his whole face is alight as he stares at his friend. Unable to trust his voice for a reply he just lowers his eyes and turns his head back to the singer, he raises his glass to the man once again and finishes the strange bubbly brew.

Juliana sighs and nods, somewhat disapointed, before she gathers herself back to a more confident, soldier like stance. "If you ever need any weapons, let me know. I craft mundane weapons that you can trust." she offers to Ashnar, before she excuses herself to look around again.

The foreign elf, in a stupor from the opulence, realizes that he need not pass around the glasses. He takes the last glass off the tray in his hands, gives the tray to an eager but not amused waiter, and raises it in mimicry of everyone else.

He asks a random partygoer, "Excuse me, why do we present the host's generous drinks?"
