"Evaw rednuht" another wave of ice and snow is blasted forth from Janus’s and smashes into the rock hard beast pushing it back along the row of statues.

Balth's attacker disintegrates before Janus's blast.

Free of the threat, Janus kneels to staunch Balth's wounds with strips torn from their outer wrappings. Once the bleeding slows to a trickle, Balth's eyes open and he heaves a ragged breath.

Janus hits Iron Defender 4 with Thunderwave for 9, killing it! Then he spends an AP (regaining 4 hp from Larinza) to use First Aid on Balth: succeeding with an 18. Balth is now stabilized! uses Second Wind to regain 5 hp, and is still bloodied but no longer dying.

She then moves back to J7 so that shorrin can get a free attack if it OA's me.

People, please - if you use something like Tide of Iron or Thunderwave that pushes enemies around, you have to tell me where you're pushing it to!

Shorrin wants to push it away, Larinza wants to hit it. The only thing that satisfies both of these is for him to push it so that it's still adjacent to her. So, since he didn't say otherwise, I'll have him push it to I10.

(You'll notice that's a terrible place to push it, because now Larinza's move provokes an OA but Shorrin's not adjacent, so he can't counterattack it. Also because, now that it's not adjacent to him, it can run away and attack somebody squishier. Oops.)

Shorrin bashes at the defender with his shield, sending it reeling backwards to crash into one of the statues lining the path. The impact cracks huge chunks off both the statue and the defender. Larinza follows up by smashing down on it with a ringing overhand blow, leaving it dazed. It snaps weakly at her as she withdraws.

Larinza uses Inspiring Word on Balth, who regains 9 hp. Then she hits Defender 1 with Furious Smash, doing 3 damage and giving Shorrin an attack bonus, and moves to J7, provoking an OA.

Iron Defender 1 bites at Larinza, missing with a 15.

Murphy moves back towards the sleds and curses the Iron Defender facing his allies. Pointing his acquired rod, a massive blast of purple eldritch energy strikes the creature right in the face tearing off a portion.

The beast turns away and bounds across the snowy plain towards Murphy. Murphy levels his rod in the face of the oncoming teeth, and disintegrates it in a perfectly-aimed blast of force. Only tiny chunks of rock and metal survive to land at his feet, hissing as they melt tiny holes in the snow.

I have that Murphy already has a curse on Defender 1, so he doesn't do that 1 damage from the minor action.

Iron Defender 1 (plans to) shift to H10, then charge Murphy. But Murphy critically hits it first, killing it!
