Shouldn't Retribution of the Dead and Retribution of Fire have saves for the attacker?

Retribution of Fire could have something like Reflex for 1/2 and Retribution of the Dead could have a fort/will save.

I think I had been reading too much World Tree when I came up with those names. World Tree has spells like, "I Didn't Really Fall" which bring you back on a ledge after you fall.

'course! I've been following the spells, but I'm not a huge fan of the color system, so I don't post as much.

I have this thread subscribed in my "101 Stuff" folder. Whenever I need a big list of ideas, that's what I use.
 

More Fun with Wands

Imprint Spell
Transmutation [Metamagic, Blue]
Level: (6) Wiz 7
Components: V, S, F
Casting Time: 1 round
Range: Touch
Target: 1 wand
Duration: 1 round / level (D)
Saving Throw: None (object)
Spell Resistance: No

You must choose and expend a spell preparation of 4th level or less as an additional cost to cast this spell. The spell prepartion you expend is imprinted onto the target wand and temporarily replaces whatever spell is within the wand. The wand uses it's own caster level and loses charges on each casting as normal.

You cannot imprint a spell greater than the level of the spell already in the wand, and you cannot imprint a spell with an expensive material component or an xp cost.

Hivemind
Divination (Insight) [Green, White, Blue, Mind-Affecting]
Level: (6)
Acquisition: GGWWWUU
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 round
Range: Touch - Ring of Hands
Targets: Creatures in the ring, up to 1 / 3 levels
Duration: 1 minute / level
Saving Throw: None (Willing Targets)
Spell Resistance: No (Willing Targets)

Creatures under the affect of this spell gain a +1 insight bonus to attack rolls, damage rolls, skill checks and saving throw for each other creature engaged in the same activity against the same target or affect. Examples

  • If three creatures under hivemind attack the same creature, each one gets a +2 bonus to attacks and damage.
  • If five creatuers under hivemind must save against the same area of effect spell, each one gets a +4 bonus to the save.

Members of the hivemind must remain within close range of at least one other member of the hivemind, or the spell fails for her only.

You might want to specify "close range."

Unless there's a standard for close, medium and long distance.

If not, 30 feet seems a nice standard.
