Thanks to @MichaelSomething we had a good time. We defeated some Ninjas and then almost got our butt kicked by Orcs. We kept rolling pretty badly at the worst of time and the Orcs had INSANE one-shot damage abilities.

I don't know if I picked the right Daily for my Invoker but the Encounter was nice and my At-Wills worked out nicely too.

So, at least for now, I will keep the character I have since we're working toward level 2 and sessions will be (at best) much more sparse. However, given the tone of the game is rather less serious than I had anticipated (not a problem, but something I want to adapt to), I am strongly considering changing my character to an intentionally humorous idea I had previously had. Saving Seth for a super cereal, ewe guise adventure.

Would you folks (particularly @MichaelSomething ) be okay with that? I'll still be a Defender (Swordmage this time), but one that might be a better fit for the tone of the game.

No problem myself, however... We might still have a need for the Paladin's healing ability, all things considered...

Important to note we went through the quintessential ninja experience; easily dealt with over a dozen, then struggled with four of them.

you know, considering how our Warlord DMPC seems inspired by Mulan (the movie) maybe we should all try to create characters who channel various Disney movies...

And then almost had issue with 1 but I think we handled him pretty well.

We've played a cyberpunk inspired campaign, set in the Eberron city of Sharn (the City of Towers) and where we were all playing the Disney princesses. So that can totally work. :D

Sounds like the game was a lot of fun! My regular Sunday group will be taking a short break later this month so I'd be available on the 16th, 23, or 30th, if a short-term drop in additional player would work. (And if not, I totally get it.)

Remaking your character is fine. After all, since we're all adjusting to each other, it makes sense to allow people to rebuilt.

Also, it's time to decide what the party will do next. Discuss your choices...

Although the Lunz clan has been driven away from Brieville, the battle was not decisive. They have retreated to lick their wounds, and will eventually pose some type of threat in the future. The party could seek to hunt them down and end the threat for good, but they're still quite the force to be reckoned with. They could still be too much for the party to deal with now.

Of course, another vital mission is to escort a large cheese shipment (from Brieville) back to EnCity. Brieville is Encity's largest cheese supplier! Ensuring the pizzas of EnCity are properly cheesed is a scared duty!

Then again, there's always Hex crawling! Maybe they'll be something cool out there???

If you're not playing and these hooks interest you; you could change that to playing? Slots still open for Enworlders wanting to defend EnCity from all that threaten it!
