MidKnight vs. Kerall (completed)

oh and as this is a strategy fight, let me explain how dirty trick works for either of you who might not know - the one with dirty trick goes last as normal and may choose to use dirty trick as normal after the other has poster their moves. However the other gets to at that time choose any one remaining move from the list of their opponent and eliminate it as if "used."

MidKnight

First Post
Testing the villain's skill first, MidKnight dodges Kerall's volcanic attacks. He then settles into a rhythm - allowing his reflexes to guide him.

The dragon dodges across the volcano; reflexively parts the quickening of the flame!

edit - still dinkin' with colors...

Kerall assumes a defensive stance. This is his toughest challenge so far, and he's better be careful.

The manticore dodges within the spring; negates the pain of the canine!

The judges yawn. Both fighters are so busy dodging around that neither does a thing. But the flag girl likes Midknights roguish good looks and awards the flag to him.

Point to MidKnight, One Flag MidKnight, Two Flags Neutral

MidKnight

First Post
MidKnight chuckles and bows to the young flag girl. He speaks to her, "If only you were a few years older my dear..."

MidKnight reaches for a beautiful flower. Picking it from the ground, he hands the flower to the young lady with a smile. Feeling the roiling anger of his opponent close behind him; he turns to face Kerall - with his left foot leading the way. The foot sweeps in high at Kerall's head, connecting just past the apex of it's arced movement.

Fires burn in MidKnight's eyes. "You shall not harrass or harm the innocents, any further."

The lotus blossum kicks through the savanna; fends off the onslaught of the honor!

Kerall remembers the Falcon stance which Archangel had used to beat him. If it worked against him, it can work for him...

The falcon shatters the badlands; negates the slash of the teardrop!

OOC: sorry for all these delays. My ISP has some ruoting troubles - connectivity with a good percentage of American sites is uncertain at best. Enworld being in that percentage. Curiously, I can see d20reviews fine instead.

MidKnight

First Post
OOC: No prob - I think a lot of people were having issues with the boards yesterday...

IC: MidKnight slips through Kerall's defenses and stands before him, right in his face. Kerall can see the small smile. It sends chills down his spine. As Kerall reaches his hands upwards to bring down a strike upon MidKnight, the Brown belt reaches up and quickly brushes aside the assault.

The rat drifts within the canyon; waves away the thrust of the stars!

Kerall strikes with his fist from above, and shreds MidKnight's drifting attack!

The fist lies upon the valley; shreds the foray of the snow!

MidKnight

First Post
Adopting the Scorpion stance, MidKnight raises his arm above his head. He brings it down in a rigid hand strike aimed at Kerall's head. As the blow connects, he follows through with the motion, rolling forward past the villain and avoiding his attacks.

As Kerall is preparing another attack, his heart is pounding fast. MidKnight has the upper hand. The fight is proving as tough as he was expecting. As he gets ready a ki-rin attack, a sudden laughter can be heard in the air. The two fighters are enveloped by a reddish mist and in the blink of an eye, they are gone. The young ganger hiding in the bush comes out, mouth open: "Kerall? Boss?"

Kerall and MidKnight appear in a place out of a nightmare. When the mist vanishes, they find themselves in a dungeon room, without any exit. Bones, human bones, litter the floor. The walls are made of large reddish stone slabs, and the main feature is a huge hourglass, as tall as a man, encased in a niche in the wall. The sand is flowing slowly but inexorably, and there doesn't seem to be much left.

You know what it is, slave. The thought is in Kerall's mind, but it is not his.

Sneaky Trick: Dungeon!

"You said that my victory against the Tournament winner would give me many days!", Kerall shouts.
Unfortunately, Jackal was not a green belt as you thought. Your victory against him was worth less than a week. "You bastard fiend! Why did you take us here?!" To lend you a hand, slave, and to let you see that you are not fighting for your gang only.

Meanwhile, MidKnight has time to resume his stance and to listen to half of this bizarre conversation. Kerall has no more time - he has to fight.

The ki-rin devours the dungeon; parries the rolling of the mist!

Edit: ...and Graydoom is on a side of the room, slightly puzzled, and wondering how can he make the most out of this strange situation.

The judges, smile at the new surroundings and then watch the fight.

"He always did have a flair for the dramatic, look at the size of that timer, like a small simple job wouldn't do just as well." says the short round judge, but a few jabs to the ribs by the elbows of his companions silences him...

Point to Kerall. Three Flags Neutral

MidKnight

First Post
A low growl emits from MidKnight at the twisted fate laid out before him. "Damn villains..."

"If you want to step into hellish dungeons, then lets try this!"

MidKnight becomes the wolf, and with a strike from the Heavens, he proceeds to attempt to knock the hell out of Kerall.

The celestial wolf obliterates the mesa; blocks the gaze of the steel!

The villain seems to ready a counterattack. A flick of Kerall's foot, and a human skull somehow finds it way under MidKnight's step, making him lose his balance and sending teeth rattling everywhere.

Dirty Trick!

OOC: is the effect of Sneaky Trick valid for one round only, or does it last until the end of the fight?
