[Midnight] I resisted and resisted....

Currently, I'm waiting for my FLGS to re-stock crown of shadows.

I went in last friday only to find out they had sold out on thursday. They said they'd have more by this week, so I'm gonna give it another shot today.

I dunno about you, but personally I think it's terrific to see a QUALITY game getting so much praise, attention and (of course) SALES.

Sometimes I look at the hardcover "fluffy, pretty" WotC books (which ultimately we find to be crap) and their 2nd mortgage-inducing price-tags and I wonder why I even bother. I never buy a d20 RPG book without seeing if there's a positive review of it on EN World (or linked site) first--and I don't often see high scores for much of the WotC stuff. (If the 3.5 Core books aren't getting great reviews, you can bet your @$$ I'm not gonna buy 'em. Or I'll start scouring KaZaa....) :D

Good job, Fantasy Flight. Maybe WotC will learn a thing or two from you guys.

I just looked through the book today in the store after thinking I've seen a ton of threads here with [Midnight] in the title. It looked fantastic, only a lack of cash on hand stopped me from getting it. Many of my players have issues with low-magic/gritty campaigns (so it makes sense that my favorite ones are Scarred Lands, Iron Kingdoms, and most likely Midnight, right :p ). Still, I'm hoping to find some way of selling this setting to them.

Play or die? ;)

All I can do is agree with the above. :D

Of course I still think it sucks when I can't get *my* copy. :(

But all is right with the world, cause I *did* get my copy. :D

Now if only the rain and humidity would go away. :(

But it's friday! :D

I'll be selling my Scarred Lands stuff on E-Bay to buy more Midnight products.... nuff said....

Funny you should say that Ashrem, cuz I just bought the Ghelspad HC on eBay in order to tweak it and make it into Pelluria, the other continent in Midnight. Been reading through it with that in mind, and it just seems to flow together. Man, I LOOOOOOVVVVVEEEE Midnight.

...but the siren-like call of the game Midnight caught me in it's spell. I bought the game and devoured the book in a day and a half.

Ok, I need an answer to this. Is it a game? Or is it a setting for DnD? And if it's a DnD setting, why not ask for this thread to be moved to the General forum where you'll get heaps more comments?

I bought the setting book shortly after it came out, and I now have the two supplements. I've been too busy to read it over just yet. Hopefully in a couple weeks when I take a vacation from both my freelancing work and my day job.

It is a setting.

I don't ask for it to be moved to get more posts because....uhh...it's...erm...an underground movement. Yeah. That's it. Underground movement. And we don't need more posts. 'Cause we're...uhh...underground.

Right then. Next?
