Midnight Second Edition

I'll get it eventually. I own the first edition and have gotten much enjoyment but much less use out of it than I would like.

I run a Midnight campaign, I still get less use out of it then I like :p

Midnight has been the only campaign setting I really could get behind, after many years of running games in my own homebrew campaigns.

Does anyone know if it will be available through Amazon? (The first edition is, but so far nothing about second.)

I know that Overstock.com has it (as well as Walmart). Last I checked both had the wrong image for the book, but the ISBN's were correct.

No update on Amazon.com though.

Ahh yes, the binding issue from the first edition. I suffered a similar fate, but was very impressed by how quickly I got a replacement from FFG when I contacted them about it.

Good customer service goes a long way...
Oh, I got a replacement pretty fast. It's crumbling too. :(

I'll be picking it up next week (after payday). I especially want it as I have one of the cruddy first-printings (the ones that were falling apart as soon as they touched oxygen).

Still, even without the printing problem I'd still be picking it up. It looks like a pretty cool update.

I might get the second edition, as long as I can be assured it won't fall apart like the first one did.

From what I saw, to get a replacement, you had to post the damaged one back to them. It would have been cheaper to throw it away and pay for a replacement.

Woohoo! I didn't know about this. I've been out of the Midnight loop ever since my campaign ended. I will definately be picking it up as soon as I can get my grubby mits on it! Hopefully amazon or barnesandnoble will have it online. Midnight is the coolest setting since Middle Earth! My book is in shambles, I wouldn't even call it "book" anymore, more like a stack of loose papers.

I'll most definately be getting it. Although I have yet to run a Midnight Campaign, I do own all the supplements. I'm was lucky enough to get into a Midnight game at Gen Con, so Ill make sure I have the second edition book before then.

While I like Midnight a lot, I'm not sure I'll be getting this, at least anytime soon. I had a chance to play Midnight for a while but since I'm not right now, it's not much use to me.

I am curious to see the changes and updates though. Regardless of what they say on the Against the Shadow forums, there's a lot of stuff that needs to be updated and fixed.
