Unattainable Ideal
Hey gang

Just wanting to crow about the release of ENWorld Gamer Magazine #2 -- featuring their very first d20 Mini-Game:

Teenage Hot-Rod Werewolves From Mars!

Teenage angst meets 50's sci-fi movies. I think the title pretty much says it all, really. Play a Teenage Werewolf, or Frankenstein, Vampire, Swamp Monster or Martian. Fight giant bugs, Brains In Vats, or Yer Just Basic Martian, trying to defend your beloved hometown from total annihiliation, while simultaneously convincing skeptical grown-ups to loosen up and help out.

Relive all the classic moments from classic films like: Horror At Party Beach, I Was A Teenage Werewolf, Earth vs. The Flying Saucers or The Blob! Only with more teenage monster fun -- because honestly, what story WOULDN'T be improved by the addition of a Teenage Swamp Monster?

Oh, and it's written BY ME! Yay me!

As is the online supplement with a campaign setting (dig those NPC names?) and adventure ideas! And movie reviews, too! Holy Toledo!

So if you've got questions or ideas or worries -- lay 'em on me, daddio!

I eagerly await the metagame expansion that allows you to also play Joel (or Mike) and the 'bots, gaining XP for making comments and cracking jokes about the game.

No, it does not. The online material includes a number of hooks, and the campaign setting is rife with things that might be happening, but there just wasn't space. I figured a setting full of hooks would be of more value than a single adventure (having very limited space to work with).

But I ran this with the "Devil Box" adventure from Dungeon #109 (revised for a Summerville setting, of course) and it went very well. Used the attached poster as my handout.
