Mini substitution advice sought

I'm going to be running an adventure that involves a babau, and I would like to use a D&D miniature to represent it. But there hasn't been one released. What would make a good substitution?

Well, yeah. But my players have really been getting into the minis when I use them. They react better to a mini than to, say, a die or something else to represent what I'm describing.

The Deathlock could be substituted as easily as a Direguard. Plusses: it's a common, it's a little less obviously skeletal, and doesn't have a sword!

Here's my suggestion. Find a good illustration of the creature in question. I believe Mark already supplied that. Print out a copy the appropriate size on a color printer. Cut said copy into a standup figure. Glue or tape the bottom, add a few pennies for stability, and there you go!

Reaper has a bunch of imitation demon/devil figs that are perfect. I'll take their version of the Osyluth any day than the bent, badly painted, overpriced version that retails for $40+ these days.
