lowlight vision +2 to two skills survival and hide or move silent ( I forget which)

Close. MHB catfolk have the following racial traits:

• +4 Dex, +2 Cha
• +1 natural armor bonus
• low-light vision
• Speed: 40 ft.
• Medium-sized
• +2 racial bonus on Listen and Move Silently checks.
• Level adjustment +1

This is one of the better +1 LA races out there--beats the pants off hobgoblins, that's for sure. For one thing, it's got no negative ability score adjustments (which is rare for any race) so it can do pretty much anything well.

But making it LA +0 means "balanced" ability scores (regardless of whether or not the class actually has any other features to speak of, oddly enough). The stats the Old One gave seem about right IMO.

I'd also lose the natural armor--it's not really all that much of a feline trait anyway.

And that'd pretty much do it.

There's an ECL 0 version of your race for you. But I'd add Lowlight vision- doesn't seem very "catlike" without it.

My cats aren't that smart, but they have plenty of DEX & CHA so maybe "favoured class= wizard" isn't all that Catlike (Rogue, Sorc). Why Longsword? I'd say rapier! I dunno about the "climb 20" speed also- does this mean they have claws? Maybe a +4 to climb?
