Mire of Despair (Ravenloft 3.5 - full)

Ooof. Dragonlance is the only setting I've never played. But otherwise fine - I know one of the dead knight things came from Krynn.

Odd is fine. Just not to min-maxed - my stuff's pretty balanced, so if the smackdown builds aren't that useful.

Cool, when I have more info on it I will get it to you. :) Sound good? I'm thinking it will be sort of a noble hero with noble attention but without the paladin's powers.

Yes, that would be Lord Soth a major player in the world of Krynn and a hunted and tormented soul. I wish I could remember the name of his domain but I can't and I'm at work so I can't step over "The Library" and look but an internet search brought me to, “Sithicus” but I have no way to confirm this.

Aye, Sithicus was Soth's domain. He's currently not the Darklord because of some tantrums from the Dragonlance creators... who of course killed him off once he got back to Krynn. A rather spiteful wraith named Inza Kulchevich is the lord of Sithicus now.

1...2...3...4...5...6...7 with me. 7 persons interested, I think I won't get a place on that one... bah I'll look the good side, I won't do any nigthmare ;)

But if there is a place, I'll be interested.

Look/Traits: 18 years old, 6'10", 390 lbs. Ivar is of course, quite ugly, being a half-orc. He has small, black, piggish eyes and swarthy skin. He's quite massive and muscular. He's very used to getting his way, and will often try to intimidate people into giving in to him. Ivar also tends to be prone to violence if they refuse him, unless he's reasonably sure the other party can defeat him or if they're trusted.
Background: Ivar was born on the outskirts of the city of Greyhawk shortly after an orcish raid on that city. His mother was low-class, and this combined with his being an orc half-breed left practically no prospects for Ivar other than simple street thivery. At a young age (6), Ivar left home and began life as a street urchin, using his massive size and threatening appearance to get what he wanted. He soon fell afoul of members of Greyhawk's thieves' guild, who refused to be intimidated by either Ivar's size or his appearance. Ivar grew to respect these thieves, and by the age of 10 was already inducted into the guild. Once in the guild, he capitalized on his innate intimidation to make a name for himself as an enforcer and "collector" for the guild. Of late, Ivar's been trying to get close to his mother again after his (fully-human) brother was born last year.

Re: Intimidate. Do you use the Spycraft rule of making it either a Strength or Charisma skill? And I can't find where it lists how much damage armor spikes do.

No, not lawyers. To my understanding, it was Hickman (maybe Weis too, but don't quote me, cause I may very well be wrong). He basically said that as far as he was concerned, Soth never left Krynn in the first place, and this prompted James Lowder to write the 'Spectre of the Black Rose' novel, where Soth's castle is destroyed and the death knight is whisked off back to Krynn. And then apparently as I said, they chose to kill off Soth almost immediately upon his return.

I do not. Armor spikes are under the armor section of the 3.5 SRD equipment link, and in the PHB under armor.

Great character! Spend you money, you'll need it.
