Missed 11/15 My Name Is Earl - Spoiler me to death!

Joy and Darnell were getting married, but didn't invite Earl, which upset him. Worse, the wedding was on his birthday. So Earl got drunk and crashed the wedding, ruining it when he accidentally kicked Joy in the face with a soccer ball.

So Earl's list got expanded upon, as his latest karma quest saw him trying to throw a dream wedding for Joy. She initially didn't want him to do it, but once she saw that he was pulling out all the stops to make her dream wedding, she eagerly went along with the plan. So eagerly, in fact, that the two of them ended up sleeping together. Whoops!

Now Earl had two new karmic tasks- throw a dream wedding for Joy, and tell the Crab Man that he'd slept with his wife-to-be. Naturally, Joy was less than pleased with the idea of Earl telling Darnell what had happened, so convinced Earl to let her tell Darnell.

Instead, she told Darnell that Earl had slept with Darnell's mom, and we finally get some sign of life out of the old Crab Man, when Darnell blows a gasket, and starts beating the crap out of Earl.

The truth comes out, of course, and Earl and Darnell have a heart-to-heart. Turns out Darnell isn't mad at Earl, seeing as how he slept with Joy when Earl was married to her. He's just mad because he thought she'd changed.

Earl convinces Darnell that Joy loves Darnell more than anyone or anything Earl has ever known, and the wedding is on. Joy and Darnell get married happily, and Earl crosses his two tasks off his list. Sadly, Joy still isn't happy with Earl, so his dreams of them having a Bruce and Demi sort of relationship still aren't realized. But, for now, there's a karmic balance.

The end. :)

Earl has worked its way up to being my second most anticipated show of the week, right after the recently-canceled Arrested Development and right before the Office. Always good to see quirky comedies breaking the sitcom mold.

Some favorite points of mine:

-Jamie Pressley being hit by the volleyball was hysterical, her hit take and Earl's reaction were priceless.

-Conchita dancing/Randy reacting. Halarious (and ouch is Nadine V. hot...*sigh*)

-You really can't dislike Crab Man.

One of the best episodes, so far. Kaos' and 'Drew have it covered, but I'll add that I definitely need to check out some more of Ethan Supplee's work, because from what I've seen so far, the man is a chameleon. Many actors do a good job of playing themselves; this guy can play a pretty wide range, from what I understand from others.

Check him out in American History X.

He actually manages to be funny and horrifying at the same time.

Kind of like Carrot Top.

Pressly didn't impress me much, but Nadine Velazquez was particularly stunning -- she can definitely bust my move anytime. Only thing better was the episode when she was in a bikini.
