The only benefit you lose is the insanely high speeds that characters can attain... they lose little if anything in combat effectiveness, besides I wouldn't allow superspeed anyways... not in genre in my eyes...

I am still muddling out the rules but for the most part, certain abilities are not in genre, superspeed would be one of them, you want to run fast, pick up the Running power, you want to have high reflexes, pick up Super Dexterity, the moral is, run what abilities you would like by me :)

So um...Super Girl, I guess you're going with a Gun Girl and um...Karl, I guess your going with a Bioroid or Cyborg-type person....hmmm...I am thinking a Beast Girl (Moreau/Bioroid) for me possibly...maybe with cybernetic implants too - I dunno =/

so Evil Ujio do you allow partial weaknesses from the Annual? I was thinking my guy might be somewhat Disturbing (which really needs a new name ;)) as he is uncouth and cares little about personal grooming or cleanliness BUT I don't really see it worth a few 10pts. Just wondering

Lethality Rules

The world of cyberpunk is a lethal place, and death is commonplace. This means that the setting is much more lethal then a standard setting, most weapons unless noted do lethal damage and enhanced strength does lethal damage.

• If you fail a lethal damage saving throw by 15 or more, you are dying.
• If you fail a lethal damage saving throw by 20 or more, you are dead.
• If you fail a stun damage saving throw by 15 or more you are unconscious and instead take a lethal hit.

Additional Impairment: Stun damage provides the standard impairment, but lethal damage presents a negative modifier to all dice rolls not just damage saving throws due to the lethal nature of the attack. This rule applies only to lethal damage.

Recovery: One stun hit is recovered every hour, while one lethal hit is recovered per day of rest. A disabled character will require medical attention to recover, and it will take three days of recovery time. A character that is dying requires immediate medical attention and at least a week of recovery time in a medical facility. These times can be improved by application of the Medicine skill.
