Did you come to the last one, and under another name?

Yea, I was under MattB, but when the boards switched so did my name. I was not sure if our old log in names and info would be moved.

cdsaint - you gonna showup and run more Weird Wars?

Mark - you thinking of running homebrew, LG, or both?

Jack Haggerty - I'd like to play in the Star Wars game. I have the book but have never played it yet.

If we get pressed for DMs, I could run something. I'd rather play, but it would be so much fun to run a 1st edition module like G1 or S1 (if anyone was interested).

Annie d20?

I wanna play a Level 3 Hooverite with the "Make Stew" feat and 6 ranks in "Lifestyle: Homeless"!!

LOL, That's absolutely marvelous, man! (for those who don't visit Mark's message boards, I'm playing Daddy Warbucks in my school's production of Annie...and yes i did shave my head)

Seriously though, what should I run if I DM?

Please, Please run Wheel of Time. A good, in depth, political power play game. Aes Sedai plotting something foul amidst the intrigues of the Carheinen while the Black Ajah laugh. That would be too cool. Maybe a Ball where every PC has some goal, hmm, I might do this myself. Unless you want to, of course :D

Roland, please do run that Wheel of Time game since i don't own Wheel of Time...lol. What should I run that I AM ABLE TO RUN: (see list below)

The List below:
D&D
Forgotten Realms

pretty extensive list, eh? :D

I think I will do something similar to what I did last time; run LG in the first slot and a module of my own in the second slot.

Which begs the question, "should we keep the format the same?" Last time we had slot one from 10am-2:30pm and slot two from 3:30pm-? The store officially closes at 8pm but they had no problem with us playing until 11pm (or even a bit later). This format allowed us to get a standard(?) four hour game in the first slot, take a break for some "eats" and have a longer game in the second slot. Also, some of us (myself included) ordered some delivered food (pizza in my case) during the second slot as the evenin got longer. It all worked out very well, IMHO.

Any other thoughts on this aspect?

Other thoughts...no...but what is the name of the event going to be?

Like the short then long slot idea...Would love it if someone ran a Necro Games module...hint, hint.

Later!

We had about twenty folks from the EN Boards at the last one, along with a handful of people that came with their friends from EN Boards, but I heard from some folks who would have joined us but didn't feel like they were welcome because they didn't frequent these boards. *shrug* I'd like to open it up a bit more, if we can, and try to increase the number of games and people.

I've also maintained a club name, though mainly in name only, with the RPGA called the Chicago Area Gamers Association. If there are no objections to me putting it under that banner, so to speak, I'd like to get some mileage out of the organization. To that end, why don't we drop the EN (no offense Eric or Morrus ;) ) and call it "CAGA Gameday June 2002" It doesn't mean you have to be part of the club (though anyone is welcome and if you are also an RPGA member, let me know).

That's another good idea. Maybe there are some folks who'd like to step up and run a game from them or any other gaming company? I know there are plenty of Kenser people in the area and others, too. I'll crosspost in the d20 pubs forum and see who might like to run a game from their own company.

Sound good?

I really like the short slot / long slot format. Lets you have some variety in what you run.

Well, since I'm a LG whore, I'd like to play that. Maybe this time we could finish the module. Heck, I'd settle for starting the main mission of the module. :D

Then, in the afternoon, surely someone will run d20 Call of Cthulhu since that will be out soon. Please? I can bring my Dunwich Horror figure! (It's unpainted and not assembled, of course!)

I've never played FR (even though I have all the 3e FR stuff), so I'd be interested in playing that, Trevalon.

I've not yet been to this gaming store, so...

Is there more than one gaming room there, Mark? How many games can we run at the same time?
