Hi guys,

Another month, another set of cool releases from the Mongoose.

There is going to be a break of about a week in delivery of Mongoose Publishing books, due to a warehouse move - however, the release schedule will be back on track after this, with books coming thick and fast!

New for April, you will see the following from the Mongoose;

EARTH 2089
New out for the Armageddon 2089 RPG, this full colour 128 page sourcebook contains everything you need to know about the world of the late 21st Century, together with the progress of the Armageddon War, as nations gear up to unleash their full might against one another. Includes full details of the technology available to mercenary companies, as well as some of the most famous actions to have taken place in the conflict.

THE QUINTESSENTIAL BARD
A jack of all trades? Not a bit of it! The Quintessential Bard (written by Shannon Kalvar) covers every aspect of this flexible class, with new uses for magic, song and instrument. Bards can now create their own theatres to boost their sorcerous abilities, as well as take advantage of a wide range of new character concepts and prestige classes. With new uses for instruments to expand the abilities of Bards, adventuring minstrels have never had it so good!

ENCYCLOPAEDIA ARCANE: DIVINATION
As the Encyclopaedia Arcane series continues to cover the standard schools of magic as well as more esoteric arts, Diviniation is the next in line to receive the full treatment. Written by August Hahn, Diviniation is a powerful work on an often neglected form of magic, yet one that potentially allows a practitioner to wield his other spells with much greater effect. EA Diviniation casts a deep and introspective look into the art of farsight, with new rules for dedicated diviners, scrying and other related magicks.

THE SLAYER'S GUIDE TO KOBOLDS
We had to do it sooner or later! Everyone's favourite monster gets the Slayer's Guide treatment. Written by Alejandro Melchor, this 32 page supplement provides many new ideas for players and Games Masters who love their Kobold characters. Including new views on their society and culture, the Slayer's Guide to Kobolds also looks at some of the more powerful (and sorcerous) sub-species of Kobolds and their magical capabilities, including those of the dreaded winged species. . .

THE ULTIMATE GAME DESIGNER'S COMPANION
Collating the very best d20 rules systems from many publications, the Ultimate Game Designer's Companion is a 256 page hardback book designed to allow Games Masters and fledgling designers to quickly and easily introduce new rules to their campaigns and games systems. Whether you are looking for rules to handle raging infernoes in crowded areas, ways to portray radiation or detailed jousting combat, the Ultimate Games Designer's Companion is the perfect resource for any genre, allowing the rules contained within to be literally 'bolted-on' to any d20 System.

You won't be able to buy any book from the web site until it is at least a month old - this is a nod to friendly retailers, without whom our hobby would be much, much smaller.

Armageddon will begin appearing in shops in about 3-4 weeks (all dependant on US Customs!), and will be available from our web site about a month after.

With all those new, and in some cases highly anticipated, releases, what are the plans for future support of the existing licences? How many settings can one company support?

And when will it appear in europe? in germany to be specific?

;)

das Darke

Darke, you should check out Dragonworld. They only deliver to Germany (and Austria, but that costs a little...), but free-of-charge if you order for at least 13 Euros.
Browse the online shop, and you'll see that they've got virtually every D20 publisher (and non-D20...) and nearly every product.

And they are quick! Not only do they get their stuff early (nearly simultaneous to the US release) - if you order anything, it's usually delivered within two days.
Oh, and did I mention that their prices are reasonably cheap?

Side-note: Normally, I'd support my "local hobby store", but the one in my city (Aachen) is rather expensive, and there's not much to gain besides WotC (especially Magic: The Gathering... ) and Games Workshop stuff.

I don't get paid for this. Although I should... :)

Hey, I've just seen the first Slayer's Manual in store. Nice idea, this 128-page compilation. And at a discount !
