Mongooses' Sheloth: City of The Drow - Anyone get this yet?

To Psion or someone with a copy of the book:

Did your copy include a poster map? I looked through it in the store and the book I checked didn't have one but those things have a tendency to go AWOL.

No, I did not have any sort of poster map.


At any rate, my suspicions are confirmed: the bard I checked out is messed up. There is a 12th level bard in the book with 14 intelligence. Under 3.0, the bard should have ~90 skill points (perhaps a few less if it gained int while advancing.) Under 3.5, the bard should have ~120 skill points (again, perhaps a few less.) Tallying the skill points, I get 86. The bard was, indeed, made with 3.0 rules.

Needless to say, I find this a bit disappointing. That said, at least I will have no reservations tossing out the characters and restatting them, as I like Plot & Poison.


FWIW, I am finding the rest of the material potentially interesting and useful thus far. The organizations, social conventions, and history all seem useful, and the extensive details of the city also seem like a boon to anyone running a detailed drow-related campaign.
