How much damage does a Huge 20+-level monk do?

My Large Monk-20+ may be getting bigger damage dice as if he went up a size category (due to the OA Empty Hand Mastery style). Right now, he does 4d8. Unfortunately, none of the tables I've seen for size-related damage extend far enough out for me to be sure.

I have an inkling it's 8d6. Another player/DM thinks it'd be 6d8.

8d6 would scale better (going up to 8d8 and 16d6 and 16d8...etc), whereas the "raise by 50%" 6d8 starts to get irritating after two more raises (9d8...uh...13d8? Dang).

Thanks!

It would be 6d8. This is on table 1-1 on page 4 of the Arms & Equipment Guide, it is also somewhere in Savage Species. It is a bit tricky to find, you have to look for the one where the Original Damage is 1d10 and go from there.

I'm beginning to think that's right. I discounted the A&EG because it's not actually 3.5 and I could swear they did something differently with 3.5 weapon sizes. However, I have seen enough in Monster Manual and (now) Draconomicon that convinces me it'd go 6d8, 8d8, etc. Feh. Oh, well, I think Tolthrak can be happy with his six 6d8+40 attacks on a flurry (though, to be fairly, in two levels).

Thanks!

Ouch... If you ever feel like posting said characters stat block on the boards, I think I'd like to borrow it for an evil monk creature of some sort.
