I don't mean to keep coming back to this debate, but something just occured to me. You should be able to use a reach weapon for your Flurry of Powers triggered power. It's Melee 1 and is NOT an implement power...at least not according to the November 2009 debut PDF from Dragon (which is all i have access to here at work).
Can somebody confirm if this would work or not as it seems to me that you'd be able to target somebody 2 squares if you where proficient and wielding a reach weapon. I don't know if any weapons in the Spear group grant reach or not, but it seams like that would NOT stack with the Pointed Step Style Feat because the feat itself says your target can be up to 2 squares away from you.

At-Will - Psionic
Starting here, the keywords indicate that it has the psionic keyword. It has no other keywords, which means that there is no way an accessory can plug into this directly. So, any parameters it may have cannot be influenced by enhancement bonuses, powers that change the damage of the weapon, or anything similiar to that.
In order for any weapon OR implement to affect flurry of blows, it must explicitly mention that it affects a flurry of blows.
But, even if it DID have the weapon keyword....
Free Action (Special) Melee 1
...in the range section, we notice that there's no mention of weapon in there. A common misconception when dealing with powers is that '
Melee weapon' means that you get to use a melee weapon with it; this is not the case. What "
Melee foo" means, is that it's a melee attack-type power with the
range of foo. (PHB p56)
Foo is generally one of three things:
weapon- which means it's your reach + the reach of the weapon
touch- which means it's your reach without the reach of your weapon
a number- which means it's that number, and your reach nor the weapon reach have nothing to do with it.
