Round 10

The angel roars, and whacks the lich with its oar, feeling better. (note as a heroic tier monster, the angel only gets one surge/day.)

The lich retreats and renews the assault on the angel's mind, to painful effect, while both wraiths tear chunks of angelic flesh.

Round 11

The angel numbly tosses its oar overboard, where it floats, drifting slowly away. It shakes its head, regaining its senses... briefly. (and 5 psychic damage.)

The lich coldy reasserts control, and shred's the angel's psyche some more.

Both wraiths pummel the angel again. It seems to lose something of its confident presence after the first attack. (the first MW attack bloodies the angel, which means it loses its angelic presence, allowing the second to hit.)

The voice continued droning on in the angel's mind, trying to force it to thoughts not its own. Even as the angel struggled with its inner battle the baelnorn called down another blast, bathing the deck in lunar fury as the wraiths howled and whirled about in a frenzy.

Cease your foolish resistance!

The lich continued its assualt on the celestial mind, bombarding the angel with strange commands and horrible visions. As the angel tried to fight off the seige on its inner self shadowy tormentors raked soulless claws over divine flesh bleeding its strength away.

First Post
With a flourish of its skeletal hand the baelnorn unleashed a final wave of mind liquifying visions and then suddenly appeared in front of its faltering foe.

I leave you your wits, so that you might fully appreciate what is to become of you.

The moon wraiths howled greedily and then lept bodily onto the celestial being....
