Phoenix_Knightwind, start wherever you want, check the list above first. Posting here is fine, I don't have an excel reader.

Dragongirl, I'm not sure what Morrus did with it, but my spreadsheet should be posted in his hosted downloads. Since it is a spreadsheet, you can export to a text file after hiding/deleting any columns you don't need. Then you wouldn't have to type all that in by hand...

Anyway, anyone can feel free to use it (or take it over, or use it as a start point for a database utility... wink wink...)

Morrus! Still hosting it?

Umm, I ripped this from the Enboards about 6 months ago:

...snip list...

And that's why a list like this thread is so useful to me, because to be frank, the official lists are stupid. With Summon IX, you can summon a vrock, or a nightmare. Now, which would you rather have? A vrock is meaner, tougher and more versatile; the only advantage a nightmare has is that it can astrally project, taking a large party along with it... for 19 or 20 rounds, at which point it vanishes, stranding you in the astral. Why not use another 9th level spell, astral projection? (Unless you don't know the spell, in which case, yeah, I suppose it's better than nothing.)

See, this is why I like this list... it will enable me to put together a more sensible list for summoning. There's a specific, concrete use. Thanks, Dragongirl!

I just looked at the lists again and noticed that you need the publishers of some of the sources I sent you. Sorry about that! :o

The following books are from WotC:
Bastion of Broken Souls
Book of Challenges
Defenders of Faith
Standing Stone, The
Faiths & Pantheons
Forge of Fury
Lord of the Iron Fortress
RttToEE (Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil)

The following books are from Mongoose:
Battle Magic
Demonology (Free Material from their website - FM seemed like a good idea at that time :o)

Of Sound Mind is by Necromancer Games, if my memory serves me correctly, and If Thoughts could Kill by Malhavoc Press.

Again, sorry for the confusion! :(
