So what creatures do you suppose received this "recognition"?

I'm guessing the tirapheg and flumph are on there. What else?

I would guess Modrons even though they just recently got a make over in Dragon.

I expect a bunch of 1e FF ones will hog the spotlight. Flail snails, etc.

From 3e I'd expect Yrthrak.

You're mad. Mad, I say. One of the most memorable adventures I ever ran was a 2E one where the PCs when aurumvorax hunting. It was awesome, and those things are nasty: a 6 legged, 6 foot long, 500 pound very angry badger that you'd normally give a wide berth, except it happens to be treasure with claws.

Aurumvorax is actually one of the better monsters, IMO. Now, the Adherer, there's a monster of suck.
