Monstrous Humanoids and Raw Food

In the 3.5 campaign I am currently playing a Lupin Ranger. Our party has a Feral Half-Dragon Fighter who claims that all Monstrous Humanoids can eat raw meat and fish with no ill effects. Does anyone know if there are any materials involving eating raw food?

Not really.

It's not really a stretch to believe that monstrous humanoids can eat raw food. Regular humanoids can do that as well.

Mmm, sushi.

The cooking process really only changes the flavour and cooks off some lingering bacteria. A person with an excellent constitution should have no problem from the vast majority of eaten food, raw or cooked.

Of course, diseased flesh can carry it's own risks, especially because it is not always evident that it is diseased.
