More spells for CoC

I'm disappointed in that the CoC conversion chapter tells how to make CoC spells compatible with D&D, but it doesn't have any hints at all on how to go the other way. Near as I can tell, there isn't necessarily a consistent Sanity/Ability price on spells relative to their "level", but some hints would be nice. Anyone tried to turn D&D spells into CoC spells, and have any wisdom to impart?

That's quite likely! :D Obviously, many of them will be wildly inappropriate for the genre, but some would work great -- especially outside of the core books. Lots of spells in the BoVD would work well, for instance.

Thanks, Enceladus, that's real comforting. ;)

P.S. Whenever I see your screen name, I can't help recalling reading years and years ago in the National Geographic report of the first Voyager flyby of Saturn talking about how to pronounce that name, and how some scientists apparently pronounce it like encheladas. Somehow, whatever affect you're looking for with that screen name, I doubt Mexican food is what you're hoping to get. ;)
