More terrorism in London?

Watching the news now. Sounds like nobody was hurt this time, and only the detonators went off (not the actual bombs).

Otherwise, it sounds like the same thing from a couple weeks ago--3 subway stations, 1 bus.

Thanks John. My wife is at work & stuck (again) - one of the attacks was at Oval underground station, which means she'll probably not be able to get the Northern LIne home tonight. *grr*
1 confirmed injury on the news.

Good luck S'mon, and all the London EN World posters. Everyone else o.k.? Has there been any further news? From the BBC report (thanks, johnsemlak), it doesn't seem like there was extensive damage, but much confusion. Hope everyone's o.k. Best to all.

Luckily I normally use the overground trains and buses during the week, so it may not affect me, but for this weekend I will be using the Victoria and Northern lines so I hope that this incident will not cause long term disruption.

I sat down to eat dinner after work and I see the news, get up and call my mother who's working ex-pat in London. Find out its all ok and hand the phone to my father. Standard operations here right now -_-

This early after an incident, its hard to know what really happened. I was watching the news just minutes ago and its a lot of unconfirmed reports and rumors. A lot of people saying "we can't really tell you much right now."

Supposedly, a small group of armed police has run into a nearby hospital. One rumor is that they have arrested someone inside (according to Fox news). Later, we'll know if that's true.

My speculation is it looks like nail bombs didn't go off right, detonators only, & they may even have caught some would-be suicide bombers. The authorities are telling Londoners to stay inside & not travel, but the city has not been closed down to the same extent as 7/7.
