more than one dodge buddy?

The only reason I would ever take Dodge is to open up the Spring Attack feat chain. I would never take that feat otherwise.

Spring Attack is so 3.0. It's all about Elusive Target these days. :)

MMDV :p

Thus, the RP card has little bearing on the mechanics of feat choices beyond what one envisions for one's PC within the boundaries of the DM's world.

Key term being 'within the boundries of the DM's world'. IMC, characters wealth and alignment have a direct impact on how the world progresses. A paladin is more likely to give the cash he has to help build a better dam than to spend it on magic armor. It's especially so if the churchs helps with supplies.

That, and the CG fairy is more likely to go down the worlds equivalent of Rodeo Drive than start ordering magic items (clothes and jewelery. flash over function I guess...).

Again, YMMV. Sorry for the thread-jacking. :)

While that sounds cool, it's really not what we're talking about. There can't be a basis for discussion with regard to the feat in question unless we come to an understanding based on the RAW. Which means that PCs are filthy, stinking rich in magical gear and the ability to gain more magical gear, and thus means that in such a paradigm, *I* wouldn't waste two feats on a mere +1 AC. Which is all I'm arguing. :p

um, yeah.

Another idea for the original poster:

If you want another OGL idea for your build, there's the 'Slip the Attack' feat.

Once per round (they were specific on this :) ), If a critter that you lock your Dodge bonus on misses, you can redirect the attacker to another opponent adjacent you to. The first attacker makes a new roll, and treats the new target accordingly.
