Most (and least) interesting RPG books to read?

Most interesting (by which I mean most inspiring) reads:

Unearthed Arcana
Advanced Bestiary
Monsternomicon
Conan: The Roleplaying Game
Book of Roguish Luck
Iron Kingdoms Character Guide
Iron Kingdoms World Guide
Midnight Campaign Setting

Least interesting, I'm not touching.

For rulebooks, I'd have to say that the Buffy and Angel core books from Eden are quite enjoyable as pure reads (especially if you're a fan of the shows). The new Warhammer Fantasy Role Playing core book is also rather good (despite a few typos), as is the Warhammer Bestiary. Actually, the latter book is great, as the first part is filled with different 'views' about different monsters, from the perspectives of common people, scholars, and, in some cases, the monsters themselves. Mongoose's The Road of Kings is also a great sourcebook on the Hyborian age.

Warhammer FRP v2 was fun, and the Old World Bestiary is freaking awesome. The Monsternomicon, as mentioned, is at least as good. All the Iron Kingdoms books are fun reads IMO, although I do enjoy turning new crunch over in my head and making sure I understand it.

I enjoy reading the old Toon books. I'll probably never play a detective or Call of Cthulu Toon game, but just reading on how to make them funny is good for a laugh.

For me it's:

Most interesting: most modules/adventures, especially Dungeon magazine; a lot of the 2e FR and especially AQ books were also great (especially the Volo's Guides).

Least interesting: everything else. I find reading gaming books to be a boring chore - an extremely valuable and well worth the time boring chore, but a boring chore nonetheless. (Whenever I hear people say that they read their rule books for fun, I just shake my head and roll my eyes. Lucky punks. ;))
