Some years ago, Steve Jackson Games was working on a set of miniatures rules called "Hot Lead". While the rules never were published, that didn't prevent Amazon.com from posting a catalog entry for "Hot Lead", indicating that it was out of print. And, numerous gamers posted "reviews" for "Hot Lead", including all sorts of goofy comments on a game that didn't even exist:

R. Talsorian Games, Inc. is happy to announce that Cyberpunk v.3 has gone to the printers. We expect to ship the hardcopy book in about six weeks. In the meantime, a slightly shortened version of the book, (290 pages but still containing everything you need to play), will soon be available on DriveThruRPG.com for about two weeks. We'll post the dates as soon as we get them coordinated with the DriveThru folks. We've also got a sample here of what's on the way. Enjoy!
