Cyberpunk 3.0 has been 'almost finished' for more than a decade now. ... Cyberpunk 3.0 remains a rumor for the time being.

The guy writing it went to work on video games for a couple of years and then got sick of that. So, CP3 is back in the works for real. Apparently it's at least in playtesting now.

Not a rumor per se, but...

Some years ago, Steve Jackson Games was working on a set of miniatures rules called "Hot Lead". While the rules never were published, that didn't prevent Amazon.com from posting a catalog entry for "Hot Lead", indicating that it was out of print. And, numerous gamers posted "reviews" for "Hot Lead", including all sorts of goofy comments on a game that didn't even exist:

I did that once with the 1999 World of Greyhawk hardcover by Roger E. Moore that doesn't exist. I compared it to various other nonexistent Greyhawk books. Amazon seems to have taken the review down, but everyone in this forum should write a new one.

...although, since it seems that someone is actually trying to sell a copy of this nonexistent book now, most of the reviews should probably be along the lines of protecting the ignorant from being conned. I wonder what it is "coffeeforbooks" is actually selling, if anything? Maybe the 1988 Greyhawk Adventures hardcover.
