If you cast the Creeping Cold spell on a target underwater, what happens?
I'm thinking the target begins to become coated in ice. Requiring an opposed ST check to break free. Say a ST 10 the first round, ST 15 the second and a ST 20 the third. I'd up it +5 a round if the spell is extended. If the target fails than they are trapped. I would allow them to continue breathing however. Otherwise the spell is too powerful.
I'd also have the target begin to float towards the surface.
This spell would be very nasty to cast on a spellcaster underwater. It does continuing damage and it takes the target out of action via floating.
Any thoughts?
