Mounted attackes of oppertunity and more

OK,
Last night I had human paladin and a halfling both on a horse (bareback, but probably not important) move and attack a reach character. The character with reach had combat reflexes.

If the horse moves in a way that the reach character gets an AoO who does he get it on? The horse? Any one target? All three targets?

Any of the three, unless he's got Combat Reflexes and a high enough dex to take an AoO on ALL three.

It's one opportunity so the target would only get one AoO. He could choose either the horse or one of the riders, although if you ruled that the paladin was providing cover for the halfling, then the AoO would go to either horse or paladin.

Edit: I did not realize Rules of the Game addressed this topic. I will have to go read that one.
