Thanks in any case. Always nice to learn something you didn't know.

No actually, your english is very good. I did not phrase that well - never mind, now I feel like I insulted you, and probably can't really fix it. <sigh>

I can at least apologize. :) Sorry.

Is "Pinotage" french?

All I know is that it's a type of grape used to make wine. Beyond that, you got me. :)

Correct! The country of origin of the grape will give you the name of the country I'm from. :)

Nah, I know what you meant. No need to apologise.

It's not french, BTW, but the original two grape cultivars used to create pinotage I believe were. One of them goes into champagne as well when blended, I believe.

Wow! I'm, like, 2 for 2! :D

EDIT:

So ... I guess you grew up speaking Afrikaans, then? I was lucky enough to take a South African history course in college.

My professor used to go on about how odd it was when he would meet a speaker of actual Dutch, and how the Afrikaans language had been folded, spindled, and mutilated because of South African race relations.

Fascinating subject.

Yip. Dutch, Flemish and Afrikaans are all very close, and easy for one speaking on of the other languages to understand. Fascinating, indeed!

One of the topics of the Rules of the Game articles on the Wizards site covered mounted combat (or maybe it was under movement?). That might give you more inisght into the question.
