@Noah Ivaldi: Can you PM me your email address? Sending the code via PM eats up valuable inbox space.

@Athinar: I'm still not sure what you mean exactly, I'm very sorry. When you write "Equipment Area", do you perhaps mean the menu that appears when you press the red "Add Equipment" button? How would you suggest it handles things where you still need to choose a tool? Also, the list of tools is meant as a list of proficiencies, not a list of the tools you carry. You often start with proficiencies in tools without getting the actual tool (e.g. proficiency with "Vehicles (Land)").

@Astromath: Thank you for your suggestions for the complete spell list pdf. I'm not actively updating that sheet because I don't use it and it is a lot of work to make from the Excel. If I ever get around to updating it I'll keep your suggestions in mind. Until that time, I suggest you use the Excel as it offers almost all functions that you requested (ok it doest not create an interactive form, but it was never my intention to create sheets that are exclusively used digitally).

And thank you for your suggestions with the Druid. I totally forgot to add Druidic as a language as well. The fact that Wild Shape showed up two times is because Circle of the Moon is supposed to change something in the Wild Shape wording, but I hadn't coded it correctly. Both problems have been handled in the new version.

This also goes for making the layers visible on page 3 (I forgot to enter a single character, sometimes that breaks everything ;))

Then about the downtime activities. I think that might be too versatile to make space for on the sheet. One of the reasons I put in a lot of space for notes. Maybe I'll add it to the last page, I don't know yet :)

MPMB, what are your thoughts on combining the EXP box and Level box? To me, they're intregral to each other and should be combined. Is it too much of a hassle to change the page layout to accomplish this?

As far as downtime space, you can add it to the same line as the factions, assuming you wish it to toggle with the Adventurer's League toggle. Another place would be the last column of the Language's section. I really doubt any PC will have 12 languages, because by then, they would have either spells or magic items that will do the languages for them (Tongues, for example).

I don't use Excel. If I had a way to translate your Excel sheet into OpenOffice Spreadsheet, I would, but I'm not that savvy in that area. That's why I keep asking if somebody could translate it since all of your time is taken up in improving what you already have.

Couple more possible suggestions:

Under Extra Equipment: add a toggle called "Stored" so that the weight calculated does not add to the weight carried. What this could mean that the equipment the PC has is in saddlebags on a horse, or carried on a cart.

Yes, sorry, "Equipment Area" menu - choose a tool and choose a musical instrument; list the tools and instruments in the books; when you select the Tool/instrument it is added to the normal equipment list

Skills in the tools/instruments should go with the Skills on the first page

You often start with proficiencies in tools:
also when you choose to take a second class, the tools don't come free or the kits

Re: Complete Spell List

I just came across a situation where I need 3 lines in the cantrip section of Warlock, not just 2. So, as a suggestion, add one more line to that one section.

Astromath: OpenOffice can already convert Excel sheets to OpenOffice document spreadsheets. Just use the "Save as" function. Also, LibreOffice > OpenOffice, and it's still free.

MPMB: Hahahaha, e-mail. Oh, you're serious. Okay, then. Sent.

Things are coming along nicely since I last dropped. A few things

1) Selecting the War Caster feat should add "Adv. Constitution (Concentration)" in the "Saving Throw Advantages/Disadvantages".
2) The AC During Rest field should probably be centered. Right now it's left-aligned.
3) The "Limited Features" Ability Save DC should probably have a hidden blue box modifier. Everything else has one, so why not this one too?
4) It would be great if feats could have the source book and page number indicated somewhere.
5) In the Current Max HP box, it would be great if you could have a hidden tick that would make it display instead "Current Damage".

I just uploaded a new stable version with a redesigned first page Character Sheet/Generator v7.0 (5-8-2015)

It has the following changelog:

. o Several other graphical changes
- Removed the ‘Old-School’ and ‘Attacks’ buttons
- Added a ‘Auto/Manual’ button that lets you put several things to manual
- Added a ‘Tool’ to the skills that can be changed manually (as per the suggestion of Athinar)

Noah: I know about that Excel -> OO capability, but due to the complexity of the Excel spell sheet, not everything gets "translated," especially the macros. I've tried.
