Muhlatimic Dragons

Howdy Alzrius amigo! :)

I was going to ask, what happened to the old dragon/epic dragon/adamic dragon/nehaschimic dragon/(muhlatimic dragon) divide?

Nothing as yet. But I think I wanted to move a few things around and maybe fold Black Hole Dragon into Void Dragon and maybe Quasar into Lunar.

The Eschatolic Dragons should be the universe enders (not Black Hole, Nexus and Quasar).

Abraxas actually works well as the first one of matter. He could have archons (not the d&d ones) as his dimensional race or servants.

I understand Black Hole into Void but why Quasar into Lunar? Wouldn't a star based dragon be more appropriate for Quasar?

And was Lunar the Far Realm based one?

If so, I guess it makes sense as Quasar/White Hole in a "outpouring of energy/matter/weirdness" kind of way.

On the Muhlatimics...

By my math, extrapolating from the dragon categories in the Epic Bestiary, the next category above Nehaschimic should:

- have 1280-2048 HD as Wyrmlings and gain 48 HD per age category.

- be Macro-Small or Macro-Medium (the upgrade to Macro-Medium being at 2048 HD)

-have d10,000 hit dice

- have a stacking Transcendental at each age category.

- have divine (or equivalent) bonuses equal to 192 + 64/age category, and they would probably get two of them.

I believe U_K called the category above the Nehashimic Dragon Eschatolic. Muhlatimics are a category above that, in the Omnific range.

Right, but if the Adamics and Nehaschimics get combined, the Muhlatimics are the 5th category anyway.

1.) True -> 2.) Epic/Neotic (Divine) -> 3.) Adamic (Cosmic) -> 4.) Nehaschimic (Transcendental) -> 5.) Muhlatimic (Omnific)

vs.

1.) True -> 2.) Epic/Neotic (Divine?) -> 3.) Adamic/Nehaschimic (Cosmic???) -> 4.) Eschatolic (Transcendental???) -> 5.) Muhlatimic (Omnific???)

Or Onashim. ;)

0. Entropy = Black Hole
2. Time = Cometary
3. Matter = Planetary
4. Spirit = Solar (technically Seraphim, and indirectly a Star Dragon)
6. Fate = Nexus (ie. Wormhole)
X. Thought = Quasar

Quasars spew out stuff (as Khisanth mentioned). I had an interesting idea for its breath weapon "Dragon Breath" whereby its breath weapon created dragons of various ages and types.

Yin/Yang? Polemic? (Muhlatimic) = GOD-bothering, Extra-dimensional Ultra-Dragons

Doomsday (Eschatolic) = Reality-threatening Anti-Dragons

Cosmic (Adamic) = Planet-rending Space Dragons

Epic (Neotic) = Dragon Gods

True (Nehaschimic) = Dragons

So then the dragons that were previously labeled "nehaschimic" - such as the nexus dragon - are now considered "eschatolic"?

Well, the 'category' of dragons once labelled Nehaschimic will now be labelled Eschatolic. But the Dragons themselves will be All-New (TM). With the previous Nehaschimic Dragons dropping down to the Cosmic/Adamic rung of the ladder.

Are these numbers the number of heads?

That's an awesome breath idea! You could use something like that for the anti-entropy dragon.

Regarding the Muhlatimics, you could call the category Polemic with Yin and Yang being the two varieties. What would they be called though?
Yin = Doom? Judgement?
Yang = Firmament? Empyrean? Destiny?
