Multiclass based PrCs...

There are several PrCs out there which encourage multiclass combinations, or make them more desireable (ex: Mystic Theurge). But all the ones I have seen so far are for dual classes. Are there any PrCs out there which encourage multiclassing in more than 2 classes? Like a Fighter/Rogue/Mage or Fighter/Mage/Cleric (I guess you could do Duskblade/Cleric in this case, but you get my point...)?

Would a spellcasting-based PrC that had something like the following be too powerful?:

+1 level of existing arcane spellcasting class/+1 level of existing divine spellcasting class /+1 level of existing manifester class

Prereq:
Skills: Knowledge (arcana) 6 ranks, Knowledge (religion) 6 ranks, Knowledge (psionics) 6 ranks
Spells: Able to cast 2nd-level divine spells, 2nd-level arcane spells, and manifest 2nd-level psionic powers.

I'm not sure it would be too powerful but definitely not real desireable.

Multiclassing in spellcasting/manifestign classes has a real drain on their progression.

In your case (assuming the +1 levels are at 1st level of the prestige class - not all of them are, many skip to 2nd level) the character/manifester would be 6 levels behind in progression for each class which would pretty much eliminate access to the highest 2 levels of spells/powers.

I know this may not be exactly what you are looking for, but check out the feat Practiced Spellcaster from the Complete Divine.

Fochlucan Lyrist (Complete Adventurer) comes to mind as a class that requires numerous classes as prerequisites. You need to be able to cast 1st level arcane and divine spells, you need bardic knowledge and evasion, you need to be able to speak druidic, and you need a variety of skills.

But you get a *number* of bonuses in exchange for the massive prerequisites, including full arcane and divine casting and a full BAB.
