I looked up the biography of the author of that article "Should Christians Play D&D?", and it turns out he was one of those people who has difficulty seperating game from reality.

It kind of disturbs me how they define all role players as evil Satan worshipers. Especially since their definition of roleplaying also encompasses the entire Theatre/Film/Television industry. I mean gee, pretending to be someone you're not, then putting it into a fantasy setting. That must mean that the entire cast of the Lord of the Rings worships the devil. And as a theatre major and a roleplayer, I'm a lost cause. I should just brand my head with a little sign that says "Satan Welcome."
My goodness. People who hold this opinion about gamers are the same ones who say that reading Harry Potter will lead you to the devil. They just really get my goat.
