Mutants & Masterminds: Buy revised or original?

The local bookstore is offering the original Mutants & Masterminds hardcover at a discounted price. Should I get that or wait for the revised edition? Are there substantial differences between the two?

Not a huge difference. Download the errata and check it out. If they cost the same, of course buy the new one. How much difference in price are they?

As I understand it:

- the revised edition has the errata incorporated. That would be this:

- the revised edition has at least one detailed example of character creation.

While both of those are nice, I'd probably go with the older version if the price difference is in any way significant. Last time I read through the errata, some of the "corrections" were IMHO worse than the alleged errors, so I prefer to have both original and errata handy. That way I can figure out which makes more sense.

There's about 20% off. Was almost going to buy it and noted the cover was slightly dented. Asked if they had another copy and they didn't. Might just have to wait for revised.

Well, if you are on a budget, get the original and just download the errata.
